A CSA is a program that offers residents an opportunity to invest in local farmers by purchasing shares of the farmers yield. The shares are sold in memberships and the members receive a weekly bounty from the farm for a reduced price structure. The end result is fresh produce straight from the farm at a reduced price while supporting local farmers. |
