I am a professional speaker and comedian, specializing in doing presentations for healthcare professionals. If you visit my current website, www.HealthcareHumor.com, you will get a very detailed idea of what I do....and see our current logo. I am looking for a new, updated logo. While the current logo is very good, the 'cartoon snake' in it (a creative version of a medical symbol) is a little too 'silly' or 'cartoony' for my clients. My prospects are often CEO's of hospitals or Executive Directors of healthcare associations, so I still need the logo to have somewhat of a business feel, but also must project a sense of fun and excitement and humor. I would love for the logo to produce a smile on someone's face, as they think, "Oh, that's clever." or "Oh, that looks like fun." The logo does NOT have to be limited to the idea of a speaker presenting a program (using a microphone, etc.), but that is a possibility for the design, like the current one. But that is just one way to approach it. There are a lot of ways to go with the concept of "Healthcare Humor". I would like the logo to somehow combine an element of healthcare with an element of 'fun'. |

I don't have a preference. I like blues and reds and greens. I'm not a big fan of brown. I think brighter, primary colors will work better than muted colors or pastels.

This was just one possible design idea--but only if it added to the design. I thought that possibly the "R" in Healthcare and the "R" in Humor could have a slanted line through it, so that it subtly portrays the Rx symbol. But I think subtle is the key. And please don't feel that you have to use the idea--you may have far, far better ideas that wouldn't work with the Rx symbol.
