  Great Kids Educational Therapy

Where great kids make great strides...

  Yes

Hi all. My business is a private practice. Educational therapists specialize in the diagnosis and remediation of learning problems. Typically a parent will contact me with worries about their child; I may do assessment, observation etc and give them a report and recommendations. Parents are looking for a trusted partner to help guide their child's learning. Remediation is typically 1-2 visits per week, sometimes for years. Most of the issues are with reading, math, writing, and ADHD. A good ed therapist addresses the underlying issues in the learning. A good ed therapist generates a plan and a partnership with parents, their child, and often their teacher. With correct guidance parents feel a big weight lifted off their shoulders, as well as starting to understand why their child does what he does, and how to help him. With correct remediation, kids can make huge gains at school. My business card says "Assessment - Consultation - Remediation - Support"

I like teal as a calming, trusting color. My current card is a stock item from Vistaprint and has light lime, teal, faded teal, and light purple squares on it. So I'm thinking blues and greens, light and fresh...but not too pastel-y, not girl-y, but clean and fun.

A logo that makes people smile would be great! Thank you all so much for the time you spend on this project; it is much appreciated. I got the tagline from a Slogan Slingers contest and I think it is great.
