  Dear all, thanks again for your submissions, we are pleased with the process so far. After discussion, we would like the logo to be completely separable from the words 'Global Water Forum'. We would like to point out design 54 by Raiden as an example of the format we are looking for i.e. a picture logo followed by 'Global Water Forum' in academic font so that we can use the picture logo as a stand alone logo or use it with the words 'Global Water Forum' next to it. I hope that's clear!

  We also should have mentioned that the Global Water Forum focuses on freshwater governance (i.e. lakes, rivers, drinking water etc.) and therefore designs including waves are not really appropriate.

  Many thanks to all that have provided entries so far. Our principal comment is that we are looking for more emphasis on the symbol rather than the words and would prefer to have an eye catching image with a serious academic style font.
