We are part of the National Denomination for the United Church of Christ, but we have our own identity within the Gaylord, Minnesota rural community. (http://www.ucc.org/about-us/ucc-logo.html) We are a musical, mission-driven, prayer-centered congregation seeking to build energetic ministries that change the world…starting at home. Our goal is to become a “4-X” Community-Focused Church, where we help people build stronger relationships with God, deepen their faith, connect with other people in the community, and share our talents with the world. “No matter who you are, or where you are in life’s journey, you are welcome here!” We try to have “Less Guilt and More Fun” in our times together. As the church of the independent thinker, we encourage constructive conversations between people with vast differences in their faith. We seek the middle, striving to balance the opinions and beliefs from people who may be different, but who are looking for ways in which they share common approaches to life. We seek to tear down barriers that divide us by building a covenantal relationship where we respect each other, even if they share different opinions from us. We do not dictate what others should, let alone must believe, but provide a safe place where people can question their faith, share their thoughts, and join together in prayer, mission projects, music, and worship services that bring us closer to each other..and to God. |

we mainly want colors that can be used in a variety of advertising mediums and collateral, while also appealing to those people who are color-blind or have other forms of eyesight impairment. We are open to suggestions, but probably a red color that is already used by our national denomination should be part of the color schema. |
