The current icon has a lot of red overtones, but that isn't right for the site. Play with colors. We are looking for a unique way to display all of the links to content on a main page. Most of the content will link to the squirrel tumblr blog. We aren't wedded to traditional navigation and in fact prefer something more creative. We need design for a homepage and an interior page. The homepage needs to have the following elements: -- Main point of the site is to drive traffic to the app store to people to download our game. That should be the biggest feature. In addition need a way to display top review comments from game reviewers. These could rotate or be links to the reviews. What do you think? -- Link to page that explains the effects of distracted driving and highlights our partners. This could be in nab or some other way -- Link to a shop page to buy squirrel "distracted driving is nuts" merchandise -- A way to display $ donated to victims of distracted driving. 10% of game proceeds go to the cause. Need to push this in a visual way -- Sharing buttons for twitter, Facebook, youtube, tumblr Also need a way to display ancillary content on the page: -- Link to downloads like Squirrel screensaver we will be offering -- Link to Warning Label site where they can suggest a game -- Visual display and link of our contest to win a free iPad -- Visual display and link to the "wall of shame" on the blog, photos of distracted drivers -- Visual display and link to our blog's photo gallery This is a lot of content that we are looking for a clean, sleek way to present. But it's Squirrels, so have fun with it! |
