This should be a fun and rewarding project that may be visible every time you shop and great bragging rights for you - to your friends who shop for groceries and clients you wish to snag using your highly visible work in grocery, specialty, convenience and schools.

Grand Pops Best is a manufacturer of ready to eat kettle popped popcorn in traditional sweet and salty and other flavors. We ship regionally - U.S east coast to specialty gourmet food stores as well as grocery stores including Whole Foods, Kroger, etc. You logo design will appear on all snack food bags in various sizes and be a very highly visible retail brand. We have been in business since 2001. We are the only kettle corn with the word excellent in the review on popcornreviews.com

Trends in packaging are toward earth tones. From research I have done: Black indicates luxury; yellow grabs attention (a butter yellow) & is used in premium lines; orange is a call to action; green could refer to the environment/healthy or shoppers on a budget. the richer the color the richer the perceived flavor. Colors should be limited to 3 & shades of the three primary colors. Colors used should reflect the expectation of the contents of the bag i.e. the popcorn, so fruity colors don't make much sense. I have use a "Grandpop" character and other characters on my packaging in the past and have found that they are sometimes misunderstood or offend. A white Grandpop probably is not ideal for use in a predominantly black city school, for example.

  not sure

I like creativity, but the design has to connect with the snack food buyer and buyers are very easily confused. You would be amazed.. Although the Blue IBM logo is an icon everyone recognizes, the stripes on a new product such as ours may not be able to be read buy the buyer. I tried using a popcorn in pop's originally and it was just different enough that a receiver at the back door of a grocery store looks at my shirt in a puzzled way and said "Grand Poop's?"

I have a web site: grandpopsbest.com. That is another project after I complete logo and packaging.
