The logo is for a company that sells fiberhooking kits (think rug hooking) online and at trade shows. For fiberhooking, you use a small hook (like a crochet hook with a fatter handle) to pull yarn and/or other fibers up through an open-weave 100% linen fabric. Fiberhooked pieces can be turned into rugs, bags, pillows, wall hangings, etc.
To see samples type "rug hooking designs" into google images and you will see numerous patterns and items. In traditional rug hooking, you pull strips of wool fabric through the foundation. With no disrespect to traditional rug hooking, we want to introduce the technique to a new, younger, hipper audience - so we decided to call if FiberHooking. FiberHooking is a name we created because in our research we found that rug hooking conjured up images of the old time latch hook in people's minds. And FiberHooking is so much more than that. It is different than latch hook in that our yarn pieces are much longer, and it is the loops of yarn that make up the right side of the piece - not the cut ends of the short cut pieces of yarn used in a latch hooked piece. Plus our designs use nicer, high end yarns and are gorgeous!

FiberHooked pieces tend to be very colorful, and therefore, I can see a lot of colors being used in the logo, but I don't want it to appear clownish.

  not sure

I am open to just using FH or using FiberHooking.com -whichever works best into an amazing design.

A hook and/or yarn could be incorporated perhaps.

I would like it to be classy and fun. Also, the kits are somewhat pricey so I want it to appear quality and classy, yet fun.
