Festival of Stars is a figure skating competition that takes place annually in Northern Ontario. Recreational figure skaters from across Northern Ontario compete at this event and the winners then qualify to compete at the Provincial championships. Participants are typically 6-20 yrs old. The logo will be used on the event's website, on the cover of the souvenir programs, on banners and other signage, as graphics on our live-streaming broadcasts, embroidered or silk screened on souvenir clothing, etc. Last year's event website is available at http://www.scno.net/viewpage.php?page_id=64 (Please note we do not like the old Festival of Stars logo you will see there and are not attached to its colours, style, or elements so do not feel you are bound by it - we're not looking for an update to it, but a complete redesign.) The event name has at times used the capitalization style of "Festival of STARS" but "Festival of Stars" is also more than okay. The tagline could be incorporated if you felt like it worked with your design, but I'm imagining it may likely be cleaner without the tagline. If you do include it, the capitalization must have STARSkate with the added uppercase letters. |

You decide. Should be able to look good on white or dark backgrounds (or have a variation that does). Our organization's "regular" logo is red, black and white and it would be good to be different from that - so avoid that colour combo. |
