Designers,
When I submitted my color ideas for this project, I did not mean necessarily to use those specific colors together. It was simply giving some direction as to the colors that could be used.
I think many of the designs are good but the colors are throwing me off. I will rate everything. If something has 3 or more stars, will you submit with other color options? Maybe an option using red in some capacity....another option based with turquoise...another maybe using green or a bright green?
I still would like to see more submissions. Maybe some different color combinations as well designers. I still would like some more artistic backgrounds...not just letters/fonts on a blank "wall". It's just not "out of the box" enough for what we are aiming for.
Suuivic, That is more of the direction we are thinking. I would like to see a sweatpant design that could run all the way down the front/side of a sweatpant. So maybe you could think on that. Maybe the FACA spread our large down the pant like some of the ones on the sites I sent? The concepts are more interesting. Can you decrease the size of the dancer's butt region for future designs?
I don't have a link showing exactly what we want unfortunately. However, you can go to the links below to see the more trendy styles that dancers are wearing. We are looking for a fun or more artsitic twist to the logo we already have, simly incorporating our dancer shape that we already use into something really trendy and current. So far, everything is missing the mark a bit! Maybe seeing these links will help see a more edgier concept.
We want something fun...something that the kids and teens will be excited to wear. Teens LIVE in Victoria's Secret sweats, etc. You could play off of the letters "FACA" and maybe work on the actual "Fern Adair Conservatory of the Arts" in front od it in a unqiue fashion...still incorporating the dancer.
Mnorth-I'm not loving these two submissions yet. The fonts appear dated to me. We have teens and kids who are pushing for something current and "now". I need something more futuristic, current, and edgy. I like the basic principal, but it's not "it" yet. Thanks!
Suuivic- The "Fern Adair" on your design would need to be above the Conservatory of the Arts writing so that it reads correctly. The Fern Adair can be in a smaller logo, but it still needs to read "Fern Adair Conservatory of the Arts". Thanks!
Designers,
The logos presented are very similar to what we already have. We want something a bit more "fashion-forward" for some trendy sweatpants, shirts, etc. Although I believe what has been done is a step forward, I would like for it to be a little more creative and artsy and less "perfect business logo". We have a defined logo for the business. We just wanted something a little more "now" and "current" for the apparel while "refreshing" our dancer that is in our logo.
It certainly doesn't mean one of these ideas isn't viable....but I'd like to see a little more creativity...different uses of fonts....possibly some background graphics....something fresh and edgy.
I have been out of town and unable to return feedback as easily as usual. I will respond much quicker at this point. Thank you again for your submissions.
