    5 hours left everybody!!!

Great designs still coming in and no clear winner yet -- you could submit one and win at the last minute!

    Thanks for your brainstorming!

@ Mayday -- it's going in the right direction but I would like the symbol to be smaller in relation to the text and look even more like the shape of an eye please...

    Thanks!

    How about my new design?
    #221 are you like it?

@ mayday -- 219 is interesting, perhaps not compact enough though... Also sorry, I don't think I was clear enough -- I actually really LIKE the direction of your 185 draft, and I would really love to see you make a stylized eye using only particles -- no lines -- that way I could have particles fly together and form the logo...

Continued great work everyone -- we are getting somewhere!

It would be great if everyone could continue to work on making the designs with eyes more iconic -- or shall I say eye-conic ;) -- by that I mean stylized and elegant treatments of an eye but less directly "obvious" that it's an eye -- definitely like the direction in fixdesign's #183 and even in Torres' #204 -- clean and simple lines but you know it's an eye

@ Fixdesign -- it would be great to see a couple more versions of 183 with SLIGHT variations -- that design could potentially win but it would be nice to have a couple more "looks" at it (maybe give a tiny more shape to the red line underneath?)

@ D3zign -- please submit modified drafts of 113 with maybe the eyeball not red and a little more stylized

@ Tpixel -- I would love to see #85 somehow turned into an eye and stylized -- it is cool how you angled the dots to give a feeling of 3d

@ Torres -- pls keep refining 204 -- like the direction but not the middle of the eye -- also please keep the same font you are using in #204 for all drafts

@ Dinesh 1201 -- pls stylize the eye more

Hi Torres -- same request to you as to Mayday in my previous comment about making the dots creatively in the shape of an eye -- also please revise your current drafts to be all caps or all lowercase...

    thanks!

Hi Mayday -- it would be great if you could make some drafts of all of the dots like in #185 in the shape of an eye and have some different things in the middle -- I could easily see that as an easy thing to animate...

Great work everybody, some designs are really starting to shine!

For those of you who are newer at logo design, I would really like to encourage you to read this page:

    http://www.istockphoto.com/article_view.php?ID=721\

Really it's a great article for any designer to read -- it really shows what can make a great logo!

To update us, as we are in the final stretch, the new designs that I am looking to evaluate would be something like fixdesign's draft #183.

Clean, simple, and has the concept of a minimal eye and falling scales...

Again, great job everybody -- keep it coming in!

    Thanks!

Thank you guys for continued great efforts!

I don't think we have arrived yet at a design that really "speaks" to the special mission of the company, but some unique designs have come through and I really appreciate it!!!

What about if some of the creatives play around with a really cool eye as the symbol, as the whole concept of falling scales is regaining sight.

Tpixel, aurelizza, fixdesign and ainmikail already have particles in current designs -- maybe they could be reconfigured to make an eye that would be representative of seeing clearly, vision!

    Thanks!

    Thanks designers for your brainstorming!

Please do NOT submit anything with 3 colors in the text, as it look unprofessional.

Also @ fixdesign -- if you you drop down the symbol also a little closer to the text that would help... Thanks!

@ roeschady -- if you could drop the symbol down a little and work on the kerning of the text a little, that would give me a better look at the potential...

@ shadowfox -- thx for the revision!

@ fixdesign -- nice work there -- to make it a real possibility, please refine it to have only red and grey in the text -- also no shadow/line under the symbol -- that is distracting and won't reproduce well...

    Porteur du Projet

Shadowfox #27 is definitely more in line layout-wise to something that we would desire -- however the text is still too small compared to the symbol and it should be all one word... Good revision though!

@ Roeshady -- The pencil icon just wasn't the right look, but good effort!

  • 25 décembre 2010 21:28 robin56

Well now there is no #1!?

  • 25 décembre 2010 14:25 fallingscalesmedia
    Porteur du Projet

Shadowfox I like that you are trying to be creative with the scales!

However, I definitely want all submissions to feel "tight" like #1 -- maybe you could work on the changing the placement of the scales to be above or to the left, but not running all over -- also the text should be changed to be something like #1...

Sorry, not clear -- when I said "this one" I meant #1...

Out of all of these, so far this one has the cleanest and classiest look.

However, can anyone think of something more symbolic to the concept of scales falling from the eye?

Themes: regaining sight, vision, different perspective.
