Thanks for uploading design #64. Can you add one more iteration i.e. one where the color scheme is grey and blue (preferably a bit darker blue than the blue color you are currently using)?

First a general comments and then some specific feedback to you all:
General comment: To make it easier for me to decide I would appreciate if you could show what your designs would look like on:
1. a white background,
2. a black background and
3. printed in black and white on a white background
This is especially important for the following designs as they are currently my finalists: #54, #49, #48, #42, #41, #34, #29 and #28
A couple of comments to each of you:
soujiro - I really like you newest idea with the handshake (#52). It looks great and sends the message. That said I am not sure I like the green and blue together. Could you make a couple of alternative versions with different colors? As mentioned I think black, blue (both darker and lighter shades), grey and gold are all good color choices.
arkana - I like your #49 and #28 designs a lot but think the mix of colors might actually subtract from the designs rather than improve them. One idea could be to simply use one color for the "symbol" part of the logo and the same or a different color / mix of colors for the text part. Can you do a few iterations along those lines so I can see what it would look like? I also like your #48 design but think it might look even better if you deleted the handshake part and just left the libra symbol. Can you make that small change and upload it again as a separate version?
minhmeo2011 - my favorite of your 3 remaining designs is #42 (the blue version). As mentioned in my general comments I would appreciate if you could show a version of that which shows what it would look like on a white background, on a black background, printed in black and white on a white background etc.
maribo - I really like your design #34. One thing I would like to see is what it would look like if you somehow inserted the handshake into the circle in the libra sign.

First a general comment. I like that you have all started to incorporate the libra symbol and the fact that some of you have been experimenting with the "handshake" idea as well, but why not try to put the two together (for an amateurish idea of how to do this please see what I just put together in MS powerpoint: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/29675986/logo%20inspiration%202.jpg - as before please disregard the ugly fonts, drawing style and color scheme, but otherwise feel free to steal whatever ideas you can from this!).
Now to the specific comments:
arkana - I really like the simplicity of your #29 design but there is something about the color combination in the "libra symbol part" that doesn't feel pleasing to the eye. Any chance you can iterate on the color scheme and combination of colors?
soujiro - As mentioned i really like the handshake theme you have incorporated but unfortunately your choice of handshake drawings are a bit too abstract and/or feminine. As mentioned in the creative brief the target audience consists primarily of men in their 50s and 60s so the handshake gesture must appeal to that audience. For an example of what I think might work better please see the green handshake pictogram in the logo inspiration I mentioned in the general comments section of this posting.
maribo - as mentioned earlier i like you design #12 but for some details I mentioned in my earlier posting today - any chance you will incorporate some of that feedback and post some revised versions?
mihnmeo2011 - as mentioned earlier i also really liked your input and would love to see other proposals from you
ufjari - while I really appreciate your tenacity and volume of submissions I think it might be worth your time to go through my comments and try to incorporate at least some of my feedback.

General note - as mentioned before I would like if you could try to make the logo use stronger symbols such as the libra symbol or handshake symbol that I mentioned yesterday. Not that I am an artist , but I took the liberty to do something simple in MS word that you can use as inspiration (http://dl.dropbox.com/u/29675986/logo.pdf)
Specific notes to you all:
ufjari - your latest designs look better but the F logo is too similar to Facebook's logo and in general I think your designs look a bit too "flashy" (too much like technology firm logos from the 90's). Any chance you can try to keep them a bit more "clean" and simple
mihnmeo2011 - I like the font and your proposals are both simple, clean and appealing to the eye. That said I am not sure if they stand out enough - any chance you can try to put the libra symbol (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Libra.svg) in the circle and see how that would look?
maribo - I like that you have incorporated the libra symbol as I suggested but the font you use is to futuristic/80's looking. Any chance you can play a bit with the font and color scheme?
soujiro - I like the aesthetic of your #3 design but would prefer if the round shape to the left of the letters would contain more symbolism and be a bit less flashy. Any chance you can iterate on the idea a bit?
