We are a non profit organization dedicated to the prevention and early detection of melanoma (a skin cancer). Our target audience is people ages 5 - 21 and the people who influence them.We are named after a physician who passed from melanoma. We think incorporating the sun in our logo would be appropriate. Our previous logo was designed when we were more a general health organization and doesn't reflect our new mission. We want to be seen as Doctor Led (educational, authoritative) and People Focused (friendly and fun). |

We think that orange/yellow to represent the sun would be good. Historically, we've had maroon and deep green, but are up for any suggestions. | ||

Many skin cancer foundations use some form of the sun. This is a possibility, but we don't have to . We'd like someone to look at the logo and be able to tell that we are for sun safety and skin cancer prevention if possible. Not an easy task but our name itself does some of that so something that compliments the name and tagline would be helpful. | ||
