Our company, Energy Training Resources, LLC, does oil and gas industry overview courses for administrative and professional types (we teach people how the industry functions). We currently have two main courses, “Oil and Gas Boot Camp™” and “Oil and Gas Basic Training®” (the ™ and ® symbols must appear with the name). We are looking for a new business logo plus logos for the two courses that all work well together from both a design and color standpoint. The business name and course titles must be legible in each logo. The courses are for professional types, not rig workers, so should have a professional appeal. Also, we do not want to use any archaic industry images such as an old oil derrick. We have been using red and black in our business-name logo and we like those colors, but are open to change if it helps coordinate better with the colors of the course logos. We have been using military green in the Oil and Gas Boot Camp™ logo because of the military-style implication of the name. We like that but are open to change. We do not want to carry the military implication any further. We have also been including the words “A Two-Day Comprehensive Overview” below the logo and like being able to convey that information with the name. (the ™ symbol must appear with the course name). We have been using blue for the Oil and Gas Basic Training® logo to differentiate it, but are not so happy with the way blue fits with the other logos. We have also been including the words “A One-Day Overview of the Industry” below the logo and like being able to convey that information with the name. (the ® symbol must appear with the course name). The assignment is for a group of three logos (business name and two courses) that help with brand recognition and marketing and present well on the same page. |
