This logo is for a private equity firm focused on investing in entreprenuer and family owned businesses. We have a tired old logo (see www.emigrantcapital.com) but are in the process of redesigning the website and logo to update our image. We invest $5-20 million in family owned businesses. Logo is typically targeting a 45-70 year old CEO who has built a low-tech business and is considering selling it. Thoughts on logo design would be either (i) play on family business idea (abstract tree inspired logo etc.), or (ii) play with E, EC or ECC (for Emigrant Capital Corp) or (iii) focus on name. Bias towards non-serif fonts, but not absolute. |
