Non-profit organization: eLife Adventure Tag line – Fun with Purpose We’re a nonprofit network of friends united by shared values and fun with a purpose. From adventure sports to book discussions, we come together based on common interests and a desire to make our communities better places to live, work, and play. Sharing laughter and a dedication to the greater good, eLife Friends are the heart of eLife Adventure. My eLife Calendar Discover More to Life! My eLife Calendar is your invitation to fun with a purpose. Instead of being invited to an activity because of the people you KNOW, your eLife Calendar invites you to events based on who you ARE. Simply pick from the wide range of choices—or use the calendar to explore a new interest—knowing that you’ll be enjoying a favorite activity with others who share your interests and values. Once eLife Friends become Hosts, they can use the eLife calendar to invite others to join them in fun. eLife Hosts Friends who make a difference eLife Hosts are the foundation of the eLife organization and the key to our success. They are trained volunteers who share their interests and enthusiasm with other eLife friends. Young or old, shy or outgoing, married or single, eLife Hosts have one thing in common: the desire to reach out and better the lives of others. Becoming a Host is easy, and all eLife friends are encouraged to certify as Hosts—because everyone has some special interest to share! eLife Teams Coming together to make life better Aristotle taught that the whole is greater than the sum of its parts. eLife Friends believe we can accomplish more when we come together as a team with common objectives. Sharing enthusiasm and talents, we engage in purpose-driven fun while forging deep connections and lifelong friendships. Lead by its coaches, each team of eLife Friends is chartered for a one-year season by eLife Adventure. eLife Coaches Fun for you, a helping hand for others Our volunteer Coaches lead and inspire team members. They aren’t expected, however, to do all the work; eLife Friends believe in a team approach. Reaching out to include others in activities they are already doing, Coaches know how to multiply the fun. Each eLife Team has multiple Coaches working in their respective roles based on their individual talents and skills. Although certification/training is not required of Coaches, most do choose to take the next step and become certified Hosts. eLife Welcome Parties Purpose-driven fun Welcome Parties are the heartbeat of eLife teams. Working in an atmosphere of fun, eLifers come together to accomplish more as a team than would be possible as individuals. Welcome Parties are the perfect chance for new eLife Friends to check out eLife Adventure—all in a welcoming, casual environment. Since eLife Friends know how to combine fun with a purpose, most parties include introductions, announcements, and planning and posting of team activities—followed by a great activity, of course! |

The Logo concept is to create national branding with the name eLife Adventure with the tag line – Fun with Purpose. When eLife friends gather to create eLife Teams, each team will create a Team Name. (eLife teams can adopt a nonprofit organization to support and/or raise money for). Once the team is certified by the eLife organization, that Team’s name would replace the eLife tag line thus creating a Team Badge signifying National branding with specialized flair. The Team Badge would: 1) Be placed as unique web page heading 2) Used for shirts and promotional items 3) Team FaceBook page For example: eLife Logo eLife Adventure Fun with Purpose Team Badge eLife Adventure Sacramento Hikers Logo should say “Fun” with Purpose Two color / clean, sharp, inviting |
