The design is for a new logo for a Catholic elementary school (grades kindergarten-5th / ages 5-10) in Charlotte NC. St. Patrick Catholic School is rich in history and proud of its Irish foundation. The school educates through the Catholic faith, the teachings of Christ and with high academic standards. There is an emphasis on community through strong family/teacher/student relationships and active school involvement. The environment of St. Patrick Catholic School is caring, respectful, dedicated and sincere. The logo will be used on signage, stationery, uniforms, promotional merchandise, marketing materials and on the website. |

| Green (between hunter and kelly) and white are our school colors so they need to be incorporated and we may opt for 2-color in the end. However, we'd be open to exploring 4-color, as long as the design is still simple and would translate well in a one-color application (particularly on uniforms). You might explore Ireland colors of green/orange/white or our uniform combination of green/navy/white. | ||

| You can Google Celtic cross images and play around with dimensions and design (e.g. squaring it off or using the shamrock within the cross in a clever way). Some Celtic crosses can be very ornate and we want to stay away from that, as it wouldn't work well embroidered on uniforms. | ||
