We are a new company that offers the highest quality eco-kosher meat (animals are treated well in life and slaughtered according to humane Jewish kosher law. Meat includes beef, lamb, goat, elk, bison, and maybe even yak. The problem today is that kosher meat that is of the highest quality and ethically-based is not readily available to people in most of the United States. There are several kosher-conscious organizations that are bringing eco-kosher meat to people. None are based in the Rockies. None adhere to the complete set of standards we espouse at EcoGlatt. We started EcoGlatt to provide eco-kosher meat principally to people in the Rocky Mountain region. EcoGlatt is unique in providing the holiest healthiest meat on earth through our approach and our standards. We strive to provide meat that is sourced from caring ethical practices including: 1. The animals are pasture raised their entire lives. They eat what they eat naturally, namely grasses. They are not forced to grow faster than they would naturally and we do not pump them with any anitibiotics, steroids or other artificial substances. 2. The animals are slaughtered humanely with reverent intention (kavannah) in accordance with Jewish law. We will only support and do slaughter (shechitah) using upright methods. 3. We are impeccable with our word and our practices. We walk our talk of ethical Eco-Judaism. 4. We raise and buy animals within our geographic region. We minimize or eliminate live animal transport and find methods of distribution that are the most economical ecologically and financially. 5. We treat the people who are part of EcoGlatt community, from farmers to our customers with respect. On the ground, this means that we pay people fairly, we strive to provide meaningful parnassah, meaning ”right livelihood” in Hebrew, and provide processes and facilities where they work safely and proudly. 6. We seek to constantly improve the well-being of animals, people and the earth and commit to keeping ethical standards and practices as the cornerstone of effective success business. 7. We uphold the values of transparency, integrity and love. For our earth, for our animals, for our people and most of all, our G!d. Our mission: Provide eco-conscious spiritually-based people the healthiest, highest quality, holiest meat on earth. |

-please see our website EcoGlatt.com. -love the font philosophy We need a logo and a certifying mark or stamp which will go on our products. The mark looks like a star of david - the top triangle mirrors a recycling triangle and the bottom is a solid triangle thus making a six point star. The word EcoGlatt appears in the center of the star. We want the logo to incorporate the mark so it would appear: Ec [mark] Glatt. We have a sketch of the mark to use and will upload it if possible. |
