  Summer of Change...1968

  Kyle O'Neil

This project is for an ebook cover. The Back Cover Text; "It’s a sweltering summer in 1960s Detroit. Motown is on the radio, backyard barbeques are lit…and the threat of race riots lingers in the air."
A saga of adversity, family, and historic baseball, “Summer of Change…1968” chronicles how everyday people lived through the sea of changes 1968 brought to a struggling nation. When two families—one white, one black—meet at a Detroit Tigers baseball game, they have every reason to hate each other: both are victims of racially motivated crimes. But as the Tigers play to win it all, these two families learn they have everything to gain by accepting each other.
From play-by-plays of historic games in Tiger Stadium, to the assassinations of Martin Luther King and Bobby Kennedy, to hard fought victories over segregation, author Kyle O’Neil captures the sights, sounds, and feelings of a pivotal moment in American history.

  Books

Men of any age, people who love the history of the 1960s Baseball fans,

File size - should not be smaller than 600x800 pixels. 600x800 is the preferred size

To have "1968" prevelent in the design. To capture some of the important images and people of 1968 (Dr. Martin Luther King, Bobby Kennedy) I like the idea of an image of two teenage boys one white the other black from 1968 walking away on a baseball diamond with their arms around each other signifying friendship (A silhouette of the two both wearing baseball caps walking away) A stock picture of the old Tiger Stadium
