My prefered design is #8. I think it would benefit from a slightly longer, rounder tail. Id also like to see two or three variations on this theme with a few alternative fonts. Then i will make my decision.

Unfortunately I might not have communicated it properly.Draft one is better than No 2. i.e Could the tail of the G become a little devils tail or the two dots on the i's become eyes. It will make the text a combination of pictoral/symbol and text. This will make it unique and easy to reproduce as a sign. Draft two would be difficult to reproduce as a sign due to its complexity.

See homecrafters #4 to see what I mean. The symbol and the logo text are one and the same rather than seperate.

draft #1 its a little on the simple side and im not a great fan of the stylised e at the front. I'd prefer it if the symbol element was part of the logo .i.e it was part of the tail of the g or incorporated the two dots on the i's nice first attempt though.
