Bustling Durban is the hub of the province’s business and industry and pulses with all the energy of a major port city. Rugby, soccer and cricket are also very popular with Durban boasting world class stadia for all major sports. Durban is famous for its busy ports. It is also seen as one of the major centres of tourism because of the city's warm subtropical climate and extensive beaches. The municipality has a population of almost 3.5 million making the combined municipality. |
