I want to thank everyone who submitted a concept. There has been some really good work turned in!

I am very torn between #87 and #61 right now. I really like each one for different reasons.

I plan on making a decision in the next day or two.

    logoon,
#94 has potential, but the head tilted down and the tear is focusing more on the negative past than the positive future. the hand uplifting the face helps, but i really want to focus on the future with this logo.

This is going to be a very difficult decision.

#15 and #61 have seperated themselves from the pack.

    gerald,
i would like to see #61 put into a similar format as what djago did with #78 (grayscale, white on black field and white on purple field)

    all,
we still have 2 days left and i am very open to new concepts.

    gerald,
    #82
I didn't mean a literal bug. A "bug"is a marketing term to a graphic only version of a logo without any text.

For the final submission, I will need to see a black and white version as well as a "bug" (without any lettering) of full color and black and white.

If I select your logo as the winner, I will need to have a layered version for the Web site and other promotional materials. If this will be an issue, let me know asap.

    All,
Watch the number of colors. I would like to keep the logo at 3 colors or less.

    gerald,
    #50 is very good.

    all,
I am going to have a VERY difficult time choosing a winner! That is an awesome problem to have.

    THANK YOU

    auralizza,
#49 could be a good concept, but you misspelled the name of the organization.

    gerald,
    #38 and #37

I really like them in an artistic sense, but similar to some other submissions, I am concerned the woman looks like she may be naked. Her silhouette flows really well with the rest of the concept, but I am in a very conservative area and this may be perceived the wrong way.

    Pgdesign,
#42 and #40 really communicate the feeling of independence and empowerment, but doesn't clearly show our mission. The woman in #40 looks a little like she is naked. The woman in #42 is better.

Silhouettes can be really tricky when it comes to being feminine without being sexual.

    Nessa,
#32 and #33 are both very nice.

There have been some really good submissions and I try to give feedback on most.

If you want additional feedback or more specifics, you can post here or send me a message and I will get back to you as soon as I can.

    Nessa,
    #30
I like the concept of the logo, but it shows why a silhouette can be so tricky. It is hard to come up with a silhouette that is multi-racial.

    Birdy,
I really like your concept. You did an excellent job of capturing the essence of Linda's Place.

Add an apostrophe between the a and s in "Linda's"

The silhouette may be a little too sexy.

    killerqueen,
I like the concept of a sun rising with the house. This concept has promise.

How about a more formal font? Maybe something in the Goudy type family as an example.

#11 kind of looks like the face is getting squeezed.

    killerqueen,
I am looking for something more professional looking, but the layout has potential.

    Nessa,
Stick with a white background. Color backgrounds can be tricky for promotional materials.

Your concept is interesting. I am interested to see what it could be if you tweek it a bit.

    #3 is the best yet.

The subtle change of the chin lifted up makes the face seem much stronger, even with the more feminine features.

    All,
Don't get too caught up on the silhouette, I really like it, but would also like to see some other concepts.

    DJAGO,
I like the overall look, but the face seems a little masculine.

    All Designers,
Having the initials can work, but they are not a necessity. Saying that, I do want "Linda's Place" to appear somewhere in the design.

The idea of a woman finding her inner strength and becoming a new, more empowered and independent woman is the key theme.
