The contest is over and a winner has been selected. Thanks to all designers and artists who submitted. It was difficult to choose the design that best embodied to me my company and its services; each design submitted had its merits. Again, thank you for participating and I invite you to participate in the next project (business cards and stationery) in a few weeks.

Designers and artists - this is the last call for designs for this project before I pick the winner this Sunday. Realizing that the designs submitted are based on my guidelines, I would love to see some ideas from all of you about what YOU feel would best convey the company and it's purpose. Please remember that the winning design is going to be used on business cards, stationery, marketing collateral and a web presence..all of which will be separate projects on here. Thank you all so much for your input so far.

I think the issue with #35 is the "sheen" newly added to the design. I think it detracts from the rest of the elements and makes it seem kind of busy to me.

Maybe it's my screen, but number 35 looks a little fragmented and unclear. Would the artist take another look at that? Thanks.

The designs are definitely getting better and are conveying to me how I want to see my company represented. Numbers 16, 21, 24 and 27 through 30 are all definite contenders, with 28 being the most favored by everyone I've shown it to with its elements that denote networking, the digital world, modern technology and diverseness. All artists, please feel free to improve upon your work based on all the notes I've left. Just three more days and we'll have a winner. Thanks all!

I couldn't find where to add it in the brief, but I'd like to add the tagline with the Diversis name, but graphically separate in case I don't want to include it:

Your Complete IT Department, When You Need One.

    Thanks all!

Thanks for the additional submissions. Numbers 15 and 21 are nice, but can we make the D a bit more obvious in the logo? Especially number 15, whick kind of looks to me like a gas can or a tree ornament. I'm liking number 16 a little more because of the contrast and the flow. Just a reminder, I'd like to have three colors in the design, if possible, although it's not a must-have. As stated in the last message, I'd like the logo to be able to stand apart from the name for those situations where both cannot be used. For that reason, I've eliminated those that don't meet that situation. Thank you all.

I eliminated several because they either didn't convey to me a representation of a multi-skilled IT start-up or they seemed to me like a templated effort. I'm liking 15 and 16 because of their colors (partial to yellow and blue)and many design elements (blocks, lines, ability for the actual logo to stand on its own apart from the name). While all are nice (even the eliminated ones), I'm looking for that one special design that speaks to me. Please keep up the submissions; the winner will be chosen at the end of the contest.

Nice colorful designs! A couple observations: I'm certainly no expert, but are they all no more than three colors? I assume that most are and that different shades were used, but to keep printing costs down, I want to limit it to three colors.
Another observation...from a layman's perspective, only one of the submissions conveys to me that Diversis is an IT company. Again, I'm no expert, I just know what I like. What are the colors and shapes that best represent IT and tech these days?
Please keep in mind that the logo has to go on a business card so the real estate it takes up needs to be reasonable, yet not be overpowered by the contact info and specialty information that will be on the card. You all seem very talented. I wish I had your conceptualization abilities!

The name Diversis should be depicted as a whole word, rather than two sections of a word. I eliminated the examples that showed the word in sections. I like the remaining design, and I also liked the graphical elements in the eliminated choice #2. This logo will go on cards, marketing collateral, vehicle, etc., so it needs to be bright and distinctive. Thanks. The final decision will be made at the end of the project period.
