Reposting the product brief to ensure there is no confusion on what we're looking for. By all means though, ask questions if you're not sure...
D.A.R.E. Massachusetts (darema.org) is in need of a website facelift and possible recommendation for content. The new design must include the traditional D.A.R.E. logo (trademarked) and appeal to children and adults. It should be make you want to continue to other pages, be clean, exciting, vibrant and pleasing to look at. It should be easy to navigate but have an edge of dramatic. D.A.R.E. has been around since 1983 and has continuosly transformed itself and stayed ahead of the times. Other than the inlusion of the trademark logo and Daren, the D.A.R.E. mascot, the design is open to your creativitiy.
D.A.R.E. is a worldwide K-12 drug prevention and education program delivered by over 50,000 police officers in 54 countries - It's primary target is fifth and seventh graders.
The site will be linked to the D.A.R.E. America (dare.org) website which receives over one million hits per month
Bass22: Sorry - I don't have the time to provide PNG files. You can use the GIF's noted in an earlier post. Don't worry too much about the scaling (I assume that's why you want PNG foramt). If you (or anyone else) really wants them, let me know. I can provide them tomorrow night probably (march 3 evening).
PLEASE NOTE: This is NOT A LOGO CONTEST. This is for a website/page. Please refrain from uploading logo designs. Read the summary for the project and you will see that the logo is static. When you submit website designs, you must use the official DARE America logo. See the remaining submissions for examples. Thanks!
To make things a little easier for you all, if you wish, you can use any of the following images as a basis for your designs. The logo can be modified ONLY to make it clearer or give other effects (like backdrop, shadow, etc.). The Darin images can be modified at will as long as they still resemble the DARE America mascot:
