The logo should try to capture the fusion of the traditional and alternative asset management worlds and the two-dimensional nature of the strategy - allocating investments across the corporate capital structure and the business cycle and using the different types of strategies when appropriate. I kind of view it as a stretched version of a simple asset allocation portfolio with alternatives at the extremes. Or you could view it like a ship with the traditional component serving as the ballast at the center, trying to hold it steady as it rocks from side to side between the two alternative components - one side being the equity markets, the other the credit markets.
