The designs are looking interesting. I see potential in many of them. Thanks and Happy New Year to all!
I suggest trying to limit the designs to contain 1 element. A rabbit, cupid and arrow make the design too complicated. If you have a heart and a rabbit element, ask yourself if it really needs both. As mentioned in my last comment, I'm looking for simple and readable. Script fonts need to be readable and any design element should not make the logo less readable.
I appreciate all the work but I'm not seeing anything yet that's really jumping out at me. A couple more thoughts to help:
1) Look at the site: cupidsrabbit.com. The logo font and style needs to look like it belongs on the site. You will notice the site is a bit more sophisticated than whimsical and not cartoonish at all. Although we're not selling high end lingerie it's not super cheap either.
2) I'm a believer in the "less is more" concept. How much can you take away from the design and still convey the message? I am leaning towards a cherub/cupid vs. a rabbit but not necessarily an entire cherub stuck in front of, or in the middle of the logo. And please, no more mutant cupid rabbits... How much of the cherub has to be present to represent the cherub? Lingerie is designed to leave much to the imagination, to show enough without showing all. Same with the logo, how much do you really have to show?
3) I can see either a script font or a modern font or perhaps both. In any case, it should be readable. You should be able to stand 4 feet from your computer and read the logo on the website.
White backgrounds please.
Thanks again for all the work. I'll continue to provide group feedback as the concepts emerge. I'm using 3 stars to say I think you could get to the right direction and 4 to mean you're on the right track. I'm hoping to find some 4 star concepts in the next day. If I mark something as 3 or 4 I will likely give you some private feedback as well. Lastly, I'm going to start filtering and removing submissions where I think we may not get to what I'm looking for. Please don't be offended. It just means the design is not connecting with me on this project. This is my 5th and not my last so we may connect on another one in the future...
Thanks for the great submissions so far!
- I like concepts with a rabbit or a cupid
- White backgrounds only please
- Try to keep the height reasonable.
Please be informed that your project is a veiled project and designers are restricted to view only their own drafts which ensure that each design has its own originality however, you being a project holder can see all the designs.
Suggestion: Provide consistent feedback and star rating on designs to attract more designers towards your project.
MycroBurst permits you to submit unlimited designs with unlimited variations. However, if you are providing 2 or 3 different color versions of the same logo in one draft, please make sure that if the particular draft gets finalized, each color version should be separated before you will send the final files.
