Our online site will be called theHUBx.com. We’re targeting a specific local geography. theHUBx is an online platform (like a hub portal) consisting of a collection of places. Our focus is to provide unique places for local businesses and professionals to create an online presence and become easier to find. We want theHUBX to be the first place people in our target area go to buy train tickets, swap DVDs for shoes, shop for gifts, find a plumber or signup for dance lessons. There will be 5 different places - (1)shoppe-marketplace,(2) travel-online booking, (3)deal-an auction site,(4) ace - site to find professional service provider and (5) swap-bartering site |

The end product will be like a family of logos. See www.mTikiti.com or FEDEX home delivery vs FEDEX Express. We like the flexibility to swap icons to denote different services and yet maintain the same logo look. Ours would have same base logo with swappable icons AND swappable text fro each place. Make it so you can swap the ‘x’ in ‘theHUBx’ for any of the place names eg.to get theHUBace, theHUBshoppe etc. AND an icon. If you were to write the place names as part of the logo, the words 'ace', 'shoppe', 'travel' , ‘deal’, swap’ etc. would be in superscript.. Use unique icons with different colors for each place. Maintain consistency in the design so that each place is clearly identifiable as a part of HUBx. |
