  Also, because this is an illustrative logo please start with a SHAPE first (Harley-Davidson is a bar and shield, Starbucks is a circle). The logo can be any shape, or combination of shapes.

  Please design the logo so that it can be incorporated into a "crest" later on (for embroidery purposes). The effect is that this logo will be in the center of the crest.
