    We are starting to eliminate a large numbers of entries.

    I have started to redo the stars we have placed on these designs.

    From now on if we have finished wanting or needing anymore versions or looks at your design it will have been eliminated if it is not going to be considered or given 5 stars indicating it is in the final and is one of the designs being considered as our logo.

    5 STARS DOES NOT MEAN YOU HAVE WON YET BUT ARE A FINALIST.

    If it has 4 stars this means it needs some slight revision or tweak to make it a finalist. Please check your messages for any comments. If you have questions on what it requires to get 5 stars please ask.

    If it has 3 stars your design needs quite a few more revision to be considered but we would like to see it developed and want to make it more suitable so please check your messages for details of what we would like to see.

    Please feel free to keep sending in new ideas though.....

    We will have a meeting tomorrow to narrow down our selections a little more. I do not want to waste the time of those who's designs we have no interest in which is why we have eliminated so many today.

    Would be interested in seeing a design that used a 4 sided Hypocycloid somewhere in it.

    Raster based design will not be accepted as winner so you all are advised to submit only vector based designs.

    Clearly #194 is some awful drawing done by me...You can see why I need someone with skills.

    I would like to see someone produce this for us. It is an idea inspired by #23 and some designs we saw elsewhere in other contests on this site

    The items going around the SCS in the drawing are meant to be a star, a microphone, a flightcase, a light, a hard hat (yes really terrible drawing I know) and another star. You can also use a van, a speaker, an outline of a person, some cable, some truss or anything else relevant you can think of.

    Will someone please attempt this. We asked the designer of #23 to attempt this days ago and have had no response.

    Please you the colors we discussed earlier with the black and white backgrounds as also mentioned.

    Please no color gradient or fades

    These do not reproduce very well at all on merchandise or at small scale.

    Where color is used it should be bold and of a single constant shade throughout

    To save anyone else from trying it we really do not want to see any sort of rendering of graphic equalizers in the design. There are way too many companies out there using that effect

    I have guaranteed this contest to make it a bit more appealing.

    Outside of this design we will be looking to employ the winning designer going forward for other projects including web design if that is something you do, Stationary and business cards, banner advertising for events and other projects for us as they arise.

    We have decided not to use SS as an abbreviation. To many negative stereo types associated with it, especially given our work uniform is black. Too many German clients as well....

    Would still like to see some initials so we would like to use SCS used instead. Which has a better feel as 3 letters and has personal meaning for the owner of the company outside of the company name.

    Interested to see some of the elements I mentioned in my last post incorporated within the text:

    Trussing.
    Flight casing, trim, surround, edging.
    Flight case metal.
    Lighting - par cans etc
    Speakers
    Speaker grills

    Interested to see Showcall Solutions or parts of the name written on the side of a flight case with that stencil effect that you see used.

    Interested to see some play on the SS of the Showcall Solutions creating a logo around the two letters with the rest of the name coming off it.

    I would like the font to be a little more complex than a standard text font. Maybe with some texture to it copying the style of trussing or flight case metal sheeting. Maybe with a metallic feel to it.
