x3mart went so far above and beyond what he had to in order to meet our needs. I could not imagine a more pleasurable experience. He was a true professional and I would highly recommend him to anyone.
I would like to thank each of you for taking the time to submit your drafts for this project. We have selected a winner. Your work is greatly appreciated and I have nothing but respect for your talents. Thank you all again.
Let's start with the PRAXIS part of the logo. Right now we really like the fonts that were used in drafts #10, #17, and #24. Please refer to these style fonts on your drafts going forward. We would like for the word PRAXIS to be all one color and not have the gradient/faded effect to it. We are looking for solid, crisp lines with the word PRAXIS.
Next the LOGO. We are obviously looking for a unique abstract logo to go along with the PRAXIS name. We really like the logo to be on the left of the name PRAXIS like draft #24 and others have positioned it. We also don't want the logo to intertwine with the name itself, keep the two separate (most of you are already doing this). Also draft #24 has come the closest so far to the look we are wanting for our logo.
I'm going to include a link to a design that we think might work really well for our logo. It is a futuristic design of a communication device. Please follow this link and see for yourself what we're talking about. http://www.wernerhelmich.nl/portfolio/portfolio/18 . This design idea would also provide a good canvas for our color schemes of Orange, Black, Green, and White that we are looking for.
Speaking of color. We are still looking for the correct use of the color scheme we are wanting to incorporate into our logo and the name PRAXIS. This is a little off the wall but this link is to a Go Daddy sponsored race car that is a great representation of both the shades of colors as well and the configuration of colors that we are looking to have incorporated into our logo/name. Please notice how the Black, Green, Orange, and White are used and how well they contrast. This is what we are looking for. http://store.nascar.com/product/index.jsp?productId=4070036
And lastly, we are wanting to be able to have this logo work on a light or white background as well as a dark or black background. If you are able to give us examples of each that would be greatly appreciated. Thanks to all of you for your great help so for and please keep the drafts coming!
Wow,,, such a talented group of people submitting your ideas! Thank you so much for the submissions guys! Please don't take offense if your design was eliminated, just wanted to keep everyone moving in the right direction with what we're looking for. Just so you guys know what to expect I will be sure to provide as much detailed feedback as possible to help you along. At the very least I will post a daily update for you and more if time permits. Again I can't say enough about my appreciation for your help with this project, please keep them coming.
Sorry...you deal with communications, you like, as brief, an abstract symbol, but should not be the dial phone, nor the headphones do not fit the balloon ... I ask what you want to represent your company? just one example, not to work in a vacuum.
So far I do like the font for PRAXIS that is used in #7 and #10. Looking for more bright and vivid color contrasts though. Please go back a read the notes I posted for more direction.
Thank you very much for the submission. As I stated in the notes we are not a traditional answering service and don't want things like telephones/headsets, etc. in our logo. To be fair to you I didn't mention headsets specifically, so that was my mistake, sorry about that. Also we're looking for the green and orange to be more of a trim or secondary colorscheme to enhance the logo. And finally we would like a scheme or an option for light backgrounds as well as dark backgrounds. Thanks again for the quick response.
