  no preference for whether to use 'light' or 'dark' gray color.

  preference would be to go with a blue-green color combination, or a gray-green color combination. if using blue, should be a lighter blue, similar to the 'royal blue (web color) found at the following link: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Royal_blue_%28color%29.
  
  the green should be a darker green similar to "hunter green."
