Confida is a private investigations company specializing in financial crime investigations. As an investigations company, we actually investigate many different things, but the majority of our cases involve fraudulent financial transactions. These include (but are not limited to) Counterfeit Currency, Counterfeit Merchandise (Intellectual Property Investigations), Check Fraud, Credit Card Fraud, Identity Theft, Accounting Fraud, etc. We also get the standard Cheating Spouse Cases, Insurance Fraud Cases, Missing Persons, Background and Pre-employment checks and other types of investigations. Based on huge increases in Counterfeit Currency Circulation through the recent shopping season, we have developed a product line of counterfeit detection devices we are marketing and selling to merchants across the country under an old company name- The Check Detectives, Inc. We felt that this company name was no longer effective in marketing our services and found that Confida would allow us more flexibility with how we want to present our offerings. The Check Detectives was somewhat name specific and many of our clients associated our services with only involving Check Fraud or Background Check work. We aspire to connect with any business that may face challenges with their day to day operations relating to all transactions. We intend to fully market our Counterfeit Detection Devices and expect it to be a big part of our business in the New Year. While our field is very specific, we don't want to be clustered in with all the other Investigation Companies that, for most part, use Magnifying Glasses, Scales of Justice, Gavels and Benches, Sherlock Holmes silouhettes, badges, binoculars, ear pieces or sunglasses. |
