  The linked arms of #116 and #118 are getting close to the idea. The non-circular composition of #108 is preferable, and it is getting closer to my idea for logo that stands alone and can be recognized. The people forming a cross or trunk is interesting in #114.

  #103 is getting closer, but it need to be more elegant and modern. If the graphic bible, people, and CBC were gone, what else could go in that oval to suggest community?

  I opened up the project again. We need to move away from the button idea and find something that incorporates the idea of "community". The other logos were looking too much like a television network.
