  don`t bother making it to serious, the logo can maybe be a bit youthfull and catchy, but clean. what`s most important is that the logo represents that this is an construction company. Our company specialize in renovation and building houses. maybe a cool font and a creative shape of a house could be a good idea for the icon?

  rocker: i think your actually on to something!, good choose of color and font. I like the picture idea, but i think it maybe should have been a bit more robust.. the thin lines makes it look a bit cheap. keep up the good work!
