  Really like #53... wonder whether is possible to invert it so green on bottom and lighter colour above. Then have the green parts rounded a bit to suggest cactus arms, and nothing extending out the top of it (so remains round).

  Our present logo is the traditional three pronged cactus (saguaro), which is perhaps a bit cliched - quite a few suggestions have been based around this. Would like to consider some other familiar cactus shapes, such as prickly pear, and also texture/colour to indicate the cactus element (e.g. halftone dots with two different green shades).

  #49, was looking at the green samsoe logo you did for another project which i really like. In particular the brightness of the green and the font choice. Something like that, but perhaps more indicative of a cactus would be perfect.

  While we like the glassy effect, we're primarily after something clear, relatively simple at this stage. The polish can be applied later. Take a look at the Nvidia logo - it's simple, but really distinctive.

  Bit more feedback on the designs so far.
  
  Lots of dark green, greys and black in present designs. We're looking for something more colourful, maybe stronger brighter green, and yellow/orange too perhaps, maybe even some blue. The logo will be primarily used on a white background.

  #13, really like the 3d glassy effect on the cactus. Not sure I like the text style so much, but it's the logo that we're really aiming for.

  #9-#11 - these are very similar to our present design, which we want to replace. While simple is nice, we're keen to have something that has a bit of polish to it for larger uses too. Maybe it will help to give examples of logos we really like - SonyEricsson, Mastercard, Adobe, NVidia, Monster, Xbox. Don't focus too much on the text if there is a symbol and text; it's the logo we're after, that is the critical thing for us.

  Comments regarding early designs #2-#4. We'd prefer maybe a thicker, more substantial font for the text. For the symbol/logo, we're looking for something more modern and aggressive rather than delicate and gentle. #1 - ideally we want a symbol and word rather than a symbol incorporated into a word. We tend to use lower case for the whole word, and that's probably something we'd stick with.
