| Since many of our member auctioneers are likely to be from in and around the Baton Rouge, LA area, purple and gold (connotating LSU and a college-educated membership - which isn't the norm among auctioneers) would likely work well. | ||

| The obvious item comprising many auction logos is an oversized gavel. Having the acronym LAPA on the top of the gavel bent at an angle (as if being in the process of being hammered) with "Louisiana Association of" on the top of the elongated part and"Professional Auctioneers" on the bottom of the elongated part is one idea. To be honest, it's about the only one I can think of for an auctioneer trade association, but I'm sure a logo design team may be able to come up with many others. | ||
