It's a small practice. I'm not trying to build an empire. The service is targeted to both for-profit (corporate clients) and to foundations and NGOs. All organizations need or already have facilitated retreats for governance, strategy, etc. Lots of people say they are great facilitators (like consultants -- lots of them, easy to hang out a shingle). My background is senior, strategic, global. So I bring enormous perspective and experience to the role of facilitator that I've been told, my competitors can't hold a candle too. How to illustrate this depth of experience? Also, I spend lots of time at the front end of a retreat understanding the organization, the business, the challenges and because of my strategy background, this gives me a big edge as a facliitator, or is another differentiating feature. |
