Strive 2 Thrive, or S2T, is a fitness and health coaching service that targets the 50+ crowd – “Boomers and Beyond” – especially those who are uncomfortable with exercise, would be unlikely to join a gym, rely on their doctor to take care of their health, have risk factors or chronic disease, and who know they need to make changes or risk their independence (older) or serious health events (boomers). It is designed to be an at home program -- includes setting up a space to use for exercise. It’s about a new attitude about the future – the goal is to help people become more confident in taking charge of their own health and fitness. The foundation is building strength, stamina, mobility and flexibility through exercise, but also being more active in general and using the body in ways that promote functioning Other health needs – diet, stress, attitude, disease management, etc -- are also assessed and addressed in coaching. Can be for one person or 2-3 that get together once a week or so with the trainer |
