  Everybody thank you so much, very nice designs, we have a few different designs we like at this point but we are not 100% sure if one of them is "exactly" what we are looking for. We want the logo to look very professional and corporate looking, We grew our last baking business to $85 million dollars before selling it 5 years ago. We are starting a new company with about $15 - 20 million in sales with hopes to double that in two years and hope to surpass our previous companies sales in 10 years so the logo has to look like a baking corporation not a retail bakery. I know this is not much help but we are not designers and only know what we really like after we have seen it and are not great at giving design direction. Please continue with new designs and we will have a winner in a few days. Thanks, Paul

  From what we have seen it doesn't look like a surfing type theme is going to work, they don't look professional enough so perhaps we should abandon that theme. We also have not been able to find one of "The lodge" type logos that gets just the right look yet, but I still have hope! We seem to be having the most success with the logos with less illustration and a nice small simple graphic or border to highlight the name of the company.

  Drafts 14, 15, & 16, great work, I'm not crazy about the font in draft 16 though. Draft #4 is simple but elegant and professional with nice fonts. Draft 12 is a little too busy for me and draft 13 is a little too seasonal with the gingerbread man and the Santa hat but both are great efforts. Thank you all so much and keep up the good work!

  Great submissions so far, I am really encouraged, keep up the good work! I am still waiting for someone to give me a version of "The Lodge at Torrey Pines" type logo with The South Coast Baking name instead of "The Lodge" name. The exception would be with a different font, still retro but not quite as rustic. One of my partners would also like to see some surfing inspired/style themes also, if someone would like to try that.

  It is not necessary to keep the design to 2 colors as stated in the brief. If you feel it is necessary for a design you are working on do not be limited by the number of colors.

  Thank you for your designs drafts 1&2, elegant & classy, I am not crazy about the font. I think the S in South might be difficult to make out as an S unless you already knew the name. I am completely open to ALL types of designs at this point, I don't want to rule anything potentially great out.
