RE Draft #9, I like the representation of people within the check box. It seems to say that people are working together and getting something accomplished. I like the blue but would also like to see some other shades of green in combination with whatever other color or colors might work well.
While our services are tax related, our distribution channels frequently involved people-people types of people . . . folks providing human resource services or helping employees sign up for health care benefits. Can anyone offer ideas that combine and transcend the tax aspect (hard, numbers oriented) with the more soft human/people aspect?
These designs are going in the right direction. Very good. We are also interested in seeing other differing ideas you might have. I'm sure you've see it before . . . your client not really knowing what they want until you show it to them.
Okay, I can work on something else. No problem. I just didn't know how simple or detailed you wanted to get.

Regarding draft #1, I like the idea of using a check mark within the design in some way.
Also appreciate the attempt to create a visual association between the words "NorCal" and "Advisors."
I'm uncertain about the plainness of the box and check mark symbol. Maybe feels a bit generic.

Originally, I said not to use initials in the design; however, it would be okay to incorporate letters into symbols, or something like that.
It's important that the logo does not give the impression that a person could use the initials as a domain URL because those initials are use by someone else on the internet.
