Thank you all so much for your contributions. I will select a winner in a little while. Thanks again!

Could I see #74 on both a white and black background? I like the outline around "hayden." Is it keep the outline on the color image but remove it on the white/black background? Thanks!

There are several recent submissions that are very good! Feel free to continue experimenting and submitting ideas.
I sincerely appreciate all of your work.

#74/#76 - Very good! You have encompassed a majority of what I have been looking for! Could I please see #74 with the symbol being uniformly green instead of a gradient and with the font size of the "weed and pest control" larger?
#68 - can I see this using the green of #70 please?
#64/#65 - may I please see these without a gradient in the symbol?
Thank you all so much! You all do great work!

can I see #60, #61, #62 with the bug a single color and the "Hayden" a solid green instead of a gradient.
Also, can I see what the bug would look like with two vertical lines that are close together and thin like the rest of the lines.

Can I see #28 with "Hayden" outlined, "weed and pest control" in green, and the bug with thin vertical lines?
13 novembre 2011 08:57 haydenpest Porteur du Projet
#47 - 49 - I would like to see a few different options.
Lets make Hayden a dark forest green - try it with and without outline, bold and not.
What's the green arc look like if yellow instead?
What's the beetle look like with subtle vertical lines instead of spots?
Is there something you can do to make the beetle stop looking like it is floating?
Overall, a pretty good set of concepts. Thank you.

#44 - could i see that with the hayden outlined as in #31? Perhaps with other color combinations and/or a solid color on the bug.
Also, is there something you can do to make the "H" blend better on the beetle in #29/#32?
12 novembre 2011 17:21 haydenpest Porteur du Projet
#45 - I like the concept - would be nice to see something besides the beetle in the center though. If we were to stick with a beetle, I would prefer to see one drawn as if you were looking at it from the front at an angle similar to the following link:
I think it would look cool if it was drawn with more robust curvature, blues/blacks to compliment the rest of what you have...

I really like the font of #28/29/31. The bug in 29/31 is neat as well, but the "H" doesn't flow very well in it.
I like the stick-like bug in #28. What would it look like with the center line vertical instead of horizontal?
The bug in #38/42 is neat - the "H" flows pretty well. I would prefer that only the H be capitalized in Hayden.
I like #40 - your submissions give me the right impression - but there is just something lacking that brings it together for me. #26 - the way you accent the "&" sign really brings out the weed and pest control - I like it.
So far there are several designs that I like (3 & 4 stars) but I have yet to see one that steals the show. Very good concepts - thank you all!

Other Suggestions:
One way to look at it is that we are a landscape maintenance company minus the mowing. When someone hires us, it's not always for pest control. They also hire us because they want their landscapes to be gorgeous. I would like to see some concepts that give the sense of a secure/beautiful/safe home and landscape.
Thank you all once again!

Two options I would like to see concepts of:
1) Focus on "Hayden." Dress it up somehow to make it pop.
OR
2) Add some sort of separate symbol or initial or illustration to compliment it.
COLORS: Blues, greens, oranges, white/black or a combo of those.
All logos should have "Weed and Pest Control" in it.
Ideally, they should convey any of these:
Safe
Professional
Peace of Mind
Reliable
A 'secure' home/environment

My original slogan was "your all-pro, all-pest solution!" I'm not sure whether it helps at all, but thought I would throw that out there.

a little more background information:
I primarily control bugs, small rodents, and weeds.
I have both commercial and residential customers
What I like so far:
#14 - sleek, creative use of the "H" #16 - the bold look of "Hayden" #20 - creative, has a harmless look to it (which is good)
What I don't like so much:
Targets - I know they get the point across, but targets or radar images are extensively used already.
Lady bugs - don't get me wrong, I LOVE lady bugs, but we must be careful about how we present them - It's easy to give the potential clients the wrong impression when we have a lady bug and the word "pest" in the same logo.
#17 - this is neat, but too busy for me #20 - I like this. However, I find I keep reading it as "HA - Den." #21 - traceygl, I am having a hard time with the concept of the "H". Perhaps you can come up with some other concepts?
What I would like to see:
I know it would take a lot of time, but I would like to see more ideas of something to accompany "Hayden" whether it be an "H", or a letter in "Hayden" or a separate symbol or character that somehow conveys something such as:
Safe
Professional
Peace of Mind
Reliable
A 'secure' home/environment
Thank you all!

Hey folks. Thank you for your submissions! Could we try something that incorporates the weed control aspect of the company into the logo as well?
I also wouldn't mind seeing more done with the "H" such as in #12... or getting creative with "HAYDEN" whether it be by itself, or accompanied by a icon and finished with "weed and pest control" in a smaller block font such as what is already being done in many of these early submissions. Thank you again!

Thank you! I'm going to wait until I get a few more submissions before commenting. Following that, I will provide frequent input (multiple times per day). Thanks again!
