Design a Corporate Logo for Palmetto Polymers. We have left traditional manufacturing setting and started this business. We serve as Manufacturer's Representative for several large Polymer companies (very large manufacturers of polymer resin). For our suppliers (resin producers) we develop new business. For our clients, we assist manufacturing companies (Molders, OEM's (Target audience)) in selecting the correct polymers for their applications and supply them accordingly. Our specialty is application development and project consulting: helping a company select the correct polymer for a project and then successfully realizing the project (helping them manufacture the part). | ||

Our experience and credibility is paramount. Our target audience is highly educated engineering types who function on an international level or regional purchasing professionals. Palmetto is a regional name that we are tied too by contract and should be understated in the logo. It is where we started (Southeastern US), but we quickly grew internationally and are no longer regional. Polymer Specialist is what we are. We want to communicate quickly that we are Polymer Experts. We don't want to appear regional. The logo must be limited colors so that it is crisp, clean, applicable to all business settings, but yet serves as a cornerstone to brand the company, making it instantly identifiable when a client sees the logo and name. It will be on business cards, powerpoint technical presentations, marketing materials, etc. We want two or three colors. Maybe blue, maroon, green. No orange, no yellow, no purple. The audience is engineering staff. Credibility, scientific expertise, highly technical, qualified, global reach, trusted partner, leading edge...this is what we want the company to be known as and the logo to reflect these strengths (simplistic, modern, strong, staying power - not flashy, overly complex, gimmicky). | ||
