draft #34: Thanks for fixing the "jr". It looks good now. How about removing the swoosh around the "o"? Like the "o" in draft #15. In the black and white, I like the gradient in the "jr" like in draft #28. You can also try and do a gradient in the graphic instead of the letters.
All. If you submit a design at this point, it needs to be original! I will not consider any designs that look like or have design elements of @Ndazikil. Please be creative.
@Ndazikil: I just notice something. The "jr" in draft #13 is the one I like. Can you change the current revisions so they look like the "jr" in draft #13? Thanks!
@Ndazikil: Would you do some revisions without the swoosh around the "o"? Like the "o" in draft #15. Also, in the black and white logo, can you gradient the graphic that contains the "jr"? Use a grey gradient instead of a blue gradient.
@Ndazikil: Thanks for your follow up! Lets focus on draft #13. I like how you did the "jr". The final dot doesn't seem to line up with the "j" in "jr". Is it me or are the dots in draft #16 a bit smaller and closer together (I like this)? The final dot on the "j" needs to be a bit smaller. Please remove the chart from the "o" in "Jordan". You can drop the tag line in the next revisions since it's pretty clear where it goes. Can you also try using the colors in draft #8? Keep the "o" and swoosh around the "o" the same color. Also, what would a favicon.ico look like based just upon the "jr". Thanks!
All. Please include a one color version of your logo. It needs to pop on either all black or white. Overall, I like deeper, darker colors. Gradients are ok as long as they don't make the logo look "cheap". Also include a version with and without the tag line. The logo has to stand on it's own. Some designs wouldn't look good if the tag line was missing.
@Ndazikil: I like where you are going with your drafts. The color is good. The tag line could be present or not. Or, it could be something like "Web Development", etc. I like your experimentation with the "Jr" but I don't really like it small and in the bubble. draft #9: I like the abstract graphic and the size in comparison to the overall logo. I don't like the chart (the rest is good)...think more web, internet, technology generic. draft #8: I like the play on the "o" in "Jordan". I also like the bubbles coming off the "d" in "Jordan"...just not sure about the "Jr" in a bubble. draft #5: The spinner is ok. I don't want the abstract image to be larger than the height of the overall logo. Thanks for the one color draft. draft #4: I'm ok with this style of logo as long as the abstract image doesn't take over the logo. The spinner is a bit dominate. The tag lines are too small though.
draft #10: This is interesting. The "Jr" needs to be closer to the "Jordan" I like deeper, darker colors. The font needs to be heavier. I like the font face of the "J" in the "Jr" I like the concept of the abstract symbol in the "o" in "Jordan" but it looks like a lollypop.
draft #7, #10: No script fonts please. Now that I see the "Jr" further away, I would like to keep it close to the "Jordan" I am not sure I like the fonts. The font has to pop on all white or black (or just one color). Thanks for submitting!
draft #3: I like this general concept; definitely more of what I am looking for. I like the creativity of the Jr. The "o" in Jordan is throwing me off though. It's leads me to a "er" vs an "or". I like the reflection but I don't want to be dependent upon it. If I used it, I would want more reflection. For now, it's best to remove it. Also, a light color background is preferable.
draft #1, #2: The text should be "JordanJr" not "JordanJr." I prefer the Logo Type or the Web 2.0 logo styles the best. I am referring to the choices in the creative brief (the overall logo being more rectangular than square). Thanks!
draft #1: The current font is a bit thin. I like a stronger/thicker font. No period on the JordanJr. I don't really like the green and red colors. Thanks for the submission!
