We are a community of parents interested in promoting conscious parenting, including physical health (nutrition and exercise), emotional health, spirituality, social awareness, community awareness. This logo will be used like the good housekeeping seal of approval, or like the non gmo project seal- it needs to be recognizable, stand out, powerful and attractive (not "boring and corporate" - this will be used to communicate conscious parents, health, spirituality - think more spiritual/"flowy" than rigid - even though this will be an emblem, it's important that it is not too restrictive in its expression. The working tagline is “Helping support parents raise physically, emotionally, and spiritually healthy children.” This new emblem will be used to recognize businesses, causes, organizations – that fit the criteria we have laid out. It's not vital to have the .org in the emblem....but would be important to have it in any pictoral or word mark. Likely will choose a couple of treatments – one for the seal and the other for the logo (seal with name). |

I have attached it here. http://media.photobucket.com/image/rainbow/BananaTacoO_O/imagesCAS9GLX3.jpg?o=119 The Non GMO project seal of approval is a good one to look at as a starting point, as the business is going to be similar in its model. this web site will cover basic info (like nutrition) and more etheric subjects (like spirituality, emotional healing) - yet the idea is to be noticeable, and recognizable to the eye. Looking for something that can convey the totality of this site, and the all encompassing parenting/healing/children theme. U P D A T E: =========== We want something that can be a stand alone logo, but can also have an application as a seal of approval (and we will likely adapt the logo to be the seal of approval officially). We are open to a variety of ideas and treatments - below we have added some concepts if you are stuck. For some inspiration, think about the concept of an aura (as in the energy body that surrounds each person) - the colors, the connection to the emotional, physical, mental and spiritual aspects of a person. Think chakras/energy/totality/oneness. Similar to the above image. Another theme/idea - imagine a graphic of a parent's hand giving a thumbs up while the child holds onto the pinky finger of the parent. This to communicate "like" and the "thumbs up" distinction. http://www.breakingalltherurals.com/2010/parenting-101/ Another idea relates to the fact that there are 3 "buckets" that encompass conscious parenting: physical, emotional, and spiritual - there could be a symbol that captures those three distinct sub themes as part of the whole.... We are totally open to creative ideas and are very committed to finding something great.
