I would like to thank everyone for their efforts during this contest. I apologise for the late entrants but I believe that to share the gain, one needs to share the pain.
I keep the one I deemed interesting though.
Dominus : I am afraid it looks more like a house being hit by a tsunami than a large backyard.
At the moment the 3 finalist are, in descending order: Wvart, Nevim and Surojitc.
I dont know if there is room for improvement in their respective designs. So to let them know, the chosen artwork will be used on :
- Letterhead (A4 format), white paper
- Brochures
- Business cards
- Invoices
- Envelopes
- Website
That the primary use, I may use it as well on road signs to announce a development or our participating into a development.
By french law I have to indicate the legal form of the company, share capital and registration number of the company on every documents. Plus to indicate address and other directions (tel, fax,and email).
I think this will appear as footer or underneath the logo and name as a left hand column on the paper.
I also have to decide whether I have them printed professionally or from my computer.
Take care all and I am having a headache deciding..

I also have to decide where to print the logo and names of the company : left hand side, centred, on the paper.
I am very grateful for all the efforts you put in in finding the best logo from a brief that was very unperfect.
You put me in quandaries about which one to chose from. At the moment the ranking is
Wvart is top position as I like the rising sun above a green field.
Nevim is 2nd as his design is perfect for a mature, professional business.
Surojitc is 3rd as I like the cool design of this letterhead.
I acknowledge the latest entrants projects but this has been a marathon and I think the first to join in deserve to be recognised and rewarded. Moreover I feel that the new entrants have benefitted from the inspiration of the others...There is nothing wrong with it but I believe to share the gain you have to share the pain.
I have ranked the contenders to give you some sort of direction in a complex subject. I am the same as you : figuring out, along the process, what would be the image of the company for the future.
I think you can all suppress the acronym "Covalor" as it does not bring anything into the message. It burdens as well some interesting project. Unless you find something really, really nice to do with it.
A logo is not compulsory but I like the idea of having an object that embodies company's values.
The main points I want you to address are :
- Seriousness and professionalism of the company,
- The company is not building anything. We buy and sell lands, hold them for investments.. etc. We need to convey to investors the idea of safety as well as being a company thinking "out of the box".

You really are amazing guys (includes feminine gender). You put me on an uneasy spot...
I will leave the contest runs its course and then opt for one of the design, not an easy task.
Take care
