Please be patient with us as we go through this process. Karen is heading up the project, but her business partner will also need to look at all of the logos before a decision is made. Unfortunately, there is a VERY serious health matter in a family member that happened right after the project was submitted. This is one reason that many of the logos have not been rated.
PLEASE, PLEASE DO NOT WITHDRAW YOUR DESIGNS BEFORE YOU GET FEEDBACK FROM KAREN. She is only able to look through the designs after regular office hours, and she is trying to contact each designer regarding their submissions. If you withdraw your design before both partners have an opportunity to review and discuss them, you may be withdrawing a winning logo.
I was out of the office most of the day yesterday, and didn't have a chance to work on this project. Some of the designs have been withdrawn, and I'm not sure that I had a chance to even look at them. For those who posted recently and also withdrew the designs - can you please post them again?
I'm responding to all of the designers today about their submissions with feedback and suggestions.
Again, please feel free to ask questions or offer suggestions. I value open dialogue with graphic artists. I have a good idea what goes into the designing process, and I would appreciate input on your end as well.
Some of the submitted designs have bright colors with the red - I really like that! I would also like to see some ideas that are 'out of the box', so to speak. I'm looking for some fresh ideas rather than the same old logo. I really want something that will 'pop'. I'd like to see something that is more modern with perhaps a 3D look to it. PLEASE feel free to ask ANY questions about the project! I'll try my best to contact each of you today with feedback and suggestions about your submitted designs.
Again - THANK YOU for your time and effort on this project!!! It's really appreciated :)
MycroBurst permits you to submit unlimited designs with unlimited variations. However, if you show 2 or 3 different color versions of the same logo in one draft, please make sure that if that draft gets finalized, each color version is separated before final files are sent out.
Just to give everyone a little more information and feedback:
We have been in business for 15 years as "Amos Custom Embroidery" selling embroidered and screen printed items. We have mainly worked with small businesses and schools.
We are branching out and creating a new business - Defining Promos - that will sell embroidered and screen printed items as well as promotional items that will have our clients logo on them. Some of the promotional items that we will be selling will include: cups, pens, awards, badges, clocks, etc. The main clients for Defining Promos will be corporate businesses. Since our specialty is to market their 'brand' or logo, our logo on any product will actually serve as an example to our customers.
This process gives us the ability to offer our clients the option of having their logo created or redone by exceptional, creative professionals. I'm hoping to start some relationships through this design process for future projects.
If anyone has ANY questions, please feel free to contact me. I will do my best to give everyone feedback, as I feel that it is well deserved for the time that you have invested.
I would like to thank everyone for being a part of our project! It is really appreciated.
Okay - just a few notes:
1) 'PROMOS' will need to be large enough to be easily read since that's the actual business.
2) The standard size for an embroidered front left chest logo is ~3.5" x 3.5" - so the logo and text needs to be more of a square layout rather than rectangular so that the text can be larger. The rectangular logo works well on caps, but not on shirts. It would be nice to have both layouts, but please keep in mind that it will need to work in a square format.
