Logo should incorporate "PTI" (Petroleum Transport, Inc. is a mouthful!) PTI is a west Texas based fuel transportation company that hauls fuel in TX, NM, CO, OK, KS. We drive tractor-tanker semis ( white Peterbilt trucks with a 6" kelly green stripe running from the cowling to the cab.) The logo will be used in all promotion products: shirts, caps, pens, logo on the trucks and tankers, even incorporated in to skins for the company pickups. We are proud of our Texas heritage but the design needs to be careful if using a state of TX image (we haul in other states) and using a Texas Star (our competitors are named Flying Star and All-Star, etc) Since we have been around since 1948, our office has nostalgic gas pumps and oil company signs. I would like to see some logos with retro/art deco, nostalgic feel. West Texas is full of ranches and oil wells. Maybe some logos with a feel of our environment. Also, we have established ourselves as a niche aviation fuel transporter. Safety and quality need to be communicated (no airplane logos...) The company is owned by myself and my brother...a CPA and a banker. Our creativity ends with stick figures! It is time for a cool logo!!! |

Our trucks are white with a kelly green stripe. Something complementary or contrasting to the green stripe would be nice. However, we can use different color schemes...one for our trucks...another for our promotional products. |
