    DESIGNERS!!

I have updated the creative brief and also attached a word document which contains some references. Hope that helps.

    Good luck!

Re draft # 7 please review the brief and incorporate feedback above. I like the sizing of the text and the tightness of the logo as a whole, but the image element doesn't fit my current needs. .

I look forward t seeing future drafts. Enjoy the rest of your day.

    Re: proposed logo 2 & 3
I love the fluid, opaque water-like line you've used in # 2. I'd like to see that type of line as a "river" of sorts.... With curves at the bottom of the logo (like the letter s) and straightening out as you hit the top of the logo. In case you cant see all of the feedback, I want my client to come away with the thought that the difficult waters he deals with (the market) can become very clear, conscice (& straight) by using my business (MHDS)

I'd Ike the logos primary elements to be the mark and the business name (McCabe Hurley Derivative Solutions). The MHDS abbreviation can b used but I'd Ike to see it smaller and used as a natural part of the "river".

I'd like the color to be shades of blue for the "ribbon/river" design element. the org name can be blue or grey or even my original suggested color of maroon. Maroon (as I'm guessing you agree) just doesn't suit the visual you've proposed.

I'm not sure how the designer and PH work with regard to fonts. I don't mind the fonts, but depending on the updated image, the font may need to be changed to balance the elements outl

Thanks again and enjoy your day.

Can all designers see feedback posted on this page? Please let me know as well as ant specific ways in which you'd like to receive feedback.

If you are a designer and, after reading the brief can see this feedback and see the logos other designers have drafted.

Re: #8 & #9. Loge is too geometric. The brief requests abstract element with organic design elemelement, as I shared w proposal #1 the design element I have in mind is a river, depicted by a single line with cuves in it (think of letter "s" the line should get straight toward the top of the logo. The image I hope the client comes away with is this: indeed the derivative markets have many twists and turns, but w McCabe Hurley Derivative Solutions I can get on course to a cler (straight) path

Let me know if I ca be of further assistance. I look forward to seeing you updated logo,

    Kind Regards,

    McCabe Hurley

Thank you for your submission, I appreciate your time and effort, my feedback is as follows

The logo's linage Isn't what I had in mind. Tough to get across without sketching it . Think of the letter S (vertical not horizontal as above) - then think of the concept of water flow (river?) something fluid, but with dimension - ribbon like.

MHDS shouldn't be so prominent in the logo - in fact, depending on the Strength of the logo MHDS needn't be there at all. In my brief I mentioned the notion of MHDS being at the head (top) of the design indicating the "solution" is MHDS. But this is merely a notion and not something I'm married to. More importantly I want the design element to the strongest part of the logo

The font is not to my liking - do not take this feedbsck poorly - but it seems generic. I am selling to a conservative male dominated industry, but I'm a woman owned firm, if I find a font which is used in ms word that speaks to what I'm looking for, can I send u the name of the font?

Thanks again. I look forward to seeing more ideas after reviewing my feedback and incorporating same into your future submissions.

    Thanks,
    McCabe
