Hello guys and girls - great input, really appreciate your creativity. Still deciding and collecting comments from my team here. Will decide in a few days; may extend contest for three days too, but definitely will award. Please stay close!
Thank you -
Jack

Note regarding camera(s):
Most cameras I am getting are good, but not quite correct.
At the center of these (infrared) cameras there is a conventional lens, like you would see on any (Kodak) camera or movie camera.
To the outside of this lens are the illuminators, or LEDs, which most of you have placed in the center.
There are usually 24 or more illuminators around the lens so you will have to show less to make it manageable in a logo drawing.
If you find this too difficult in the size you are working, plate glass reflections from a flat glass cover will also work - eg, you cannot see the lens behind it.
Additional detail, lines in the cover, etc., are good to differentiate your camera from a clip art look-alike.
Thank you all for your great work. This is awesome!

Excellent entries - all of them - it will be very hard to choose a winner, I like several of them; and these are the common traits if you would like to make any final changes before the contest ends at this time tomorrow
1. Colors will be b/w with light blue
2. Half-tones are good
3. SOLID text conveys a STABLE company
4. SOLID cameras convey QUALITY products
5. I really like the Dallas skyline - still deciding between that and text & cameras only
Thank you all for your great work and super creativity. I am looking forward to even more creativity in the remaining 24 hours!

Maybe use a Dallas Skyline backdrop with a camera?
Don't use this one, it is proprietary, but it will show you what I mean.

To all designers: (Some of you may have received this as a private message) here is what I like:
- Important: The image of camera must portray; quality, solid, professional. No cartoon caricatures please!
- Most important word: 'CCTV'
- As important or next most important: 'Security Cameras'
- Less Important Word: 'Dallas' (Mainly for search engines)
- Least important words: 'A CCTV Security Direct Company' (Leave off 'LLC' only needs to be readable up close)
Colors - not sure what colors I want, but I do know that I don't want anything too exotic -
- maybe just black (or white on black) and gray halftones?
- easy to recognize and read quickly at a distance
I changed the logo more to your liking Jack. Let me know what you think.

Need Camera logo in design - #4, 6 & 7 are the only ones that have this so far. Multiple cameras would be good.
Avoid "DCCTV" - prefer "DALLAS" as one word. Looks good above the rest of the script, but it does not have to be that way; #4 comes closest so far, but camera doesn't look right.
Try "Dallas CCTV Security Cameras" stylized on one line with "A CCTV Security Direct Company" below it.
Cameras might be at both ends, above and below, above or below, to make the perfect logo.

A 1:3 height:width ratio appeals most to me
Thanks - Good start!
