  We met this evening and have considered not using a logo and going with a framed "Worth, Inc. General Contractors". We like the font used in #23 and #12. The frame can be simple or intricate (think crown molding). Please submit some examples along these lines. This may give us a more timeless look. We want this to be recognizable, but we're unsure about the "emblem". Our name could be the "logo". Think Tiffany's or Gap, etc.

  Thank you all for your examples. We've done another round of elimination and the ones that we've selected are simple and classic with an abstract element (not blocky). We would love to see some additional examples of further ideas using darker backgrounds (probably brown) with cream lettering, logos and shading. Again, no buildings, hammers or building related products incorporated into the design.

  We've met and discussed all of the options that you've all submitted. I used the eliminate option to condense this down to a page of the samples that best represent what we're looking for. The top four base logo's are #12, #23, #66 and #68. I think that means we're interested in something with some abstract lines. I think we're leaning away from anything with a building (house or high-rise) because it doesn't represent our ability to perform both residential and commercial projects. Eager to see what you all come up with over the next couple of days. We'll discuss tomorrow night and provide additional feedback. Thanks.

  Thanks to all so far. You guys have designed some wonderful logos. We're going to have the managing partners and employees get together towards the end of the week to review the available designs. We'll give some definite feedback after the meeting. I think we're still looking for "the" logo at this point.

  I really like entry #12 so far. The font is very professional. I'm not decided on the logo. I have decided that I prefer the logo separate from the font. Would possibly like to see something with a brown background and cream letters/logo. I am also interested in hatching and/or shading. The gold in several of the samples looks appealing.
